I know this had nothing to do with this group or anything, but I'm going to personally speak to one of the contributor of this group, Hellblaze. So it would be better to stay the hell away from this argument.

Because banning me for pointing your mistakes and doesn't even care about my argument is an evidence that you're in denial by ignoring my argument and blocking me which is not a good way to win an argument. So I'm going to just put my argument here before staying away from this issue and Hellblazer.

My thought on the Halo 5 "villain".

 I'm thinking of why Cortana is doing what she's doing, is that she's simply trying to protect John. Him and her have been through a lot, she knows what he went through in the Spartan program, he saw him go through hell multiple times. Which also explains why she threw him into the cryptum (sp?), so that she'd do what needs to be done and destroy everyone who doesn't comply with her. Then when he finally emerges, the galaxy/ universe will be at peace and he can enjoy the rest of his days.

Also, with Hunt the Truth, we see that ONI is putting out a hit on John for taking Blue Team with him for going to the place Cortana mentioned in her message to John. Cortana was an already advanced AI who could hack into advanced alien technology. With her "upgrade" in the Domain, she probably could easily hack into the ONI databases and find that; the proverbial "straw that broke the camel's back".
